Bennett Direct Foam Buster is a fast acting water emulsion defoamer for controlling foam that may result from previous cleaning residues or Carpet Mill treatments. It is an extremely economical product and needs only to be used sparingly. Always shake well before use because emulsions may partly separate in adverse weather conditions.
DIRECTIONS
Bennett Direct Foam Buster is used to control foaming in the recovery tank. It should not be applied directly to the carpet, either as a prespray or through your extraction machine. Defoamers interfere with the surfactant properties of your cleaning solution and may reduce their cleaning effectiveness. Pour a capful of Bennett Direct Foam Buster directly into the empty recovery tank. If foaming is severe and difficult to control, make a solution of 1 part Bennett Direct Foam Buster to 9 parts water. Apply this by handspray to the internal sides of the recovery tank. Spraying the foam surface when the tank is part full will also quickly collapse excess foam and assist draining of the tank on completion. For fastest foam reducing action make up a solution of 1 part Bennett Direct Foam Buster in 100 parts water in a bucket. Periodically suck up a small quantity of this solution with your cleaning tool to coat the vacuum lines and refresh the tank.
