Bennett Direct Rust Remover is highly effective in removing even long term rust marks such as under steel filing cabinets. It contains Ammonium Hydro Fluoride. When in solution, this acid salt disassociates to produce a small amount of hydrofluoric acid. While safer to use than hydrofluoric acid, this product must still be regarded as a dangerous chemical. Dry residues are toxic and can be reactivated by moisture to produce hydrofluoric acid. It is intended for professional use by trained operators only and its application must be followed by water extraction. Failure to extract will leave toxic residues in the carpet and may lead to re-emergence of the rust mark.

Directions
For use by experienced professional carpet cleaners only. Put on eye protection and gloves before handling this product. Apply sparingly, using only enough to wet the rust stained area using a dropper. Alternately it may be applied using a cloth swab moistened with Rust Remover, taking care not to allow any skin contact. As soon as the rust mark disappears, extract the area to remove residues. Thoroughly rinse all equipment with water.
