Rotovac Corporation is headquartered in Bothell, Washington, United States. The Rotovac Powerwand was designed by Cliff Monson (inventor of the HydraMaster RX-20 carpet cleaning machine). The Rotovac was introduced at the 1996 Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration (ASCR) national trade show in New Orleans. Since then, the Rotovac has proven to be the best-performing carpet cleaning machine ever developed.

Since releasing the Powerwand Rotovac has gone on to develop other products such as the Rotovac 360i Power Head, the very versatile CFX Portable Extractor and most recently the Steam Chamber Upholstery Tool. Rotovac continues to build on its reputation as a inventors and developers of new technologies of carpet and hard surface cleaning equipment.
